Ornamental & Wrought Iron Fencing

Strong, elegant steel and wrought-iron fencing — from decorative property lines to ultra-high-security perimeters.

Strength and curb appeal in one fence

When a property needs to look distinguished and stay protected, ornamental iron is the answer. Pacific Security Fence South installs ornamental and wrought-iron fencing — really, modern welded and powder-coated steel — for corporate campuses, institutions, communities and homes across California.

From decorative to ultra-high-security

Ornamental steel spans a wide range. At one end, elegant powder-coated panels define a residential or corporate property line. At the other, Ameristar Impass II ultra-high-security systems deliver anti-climb, anti-cut protection for the most sensitive sites. We help you choose the grade, height and picket profile that fits the appearance you want and the security you need.

Finished to last

Every system is hot-dip galvanized and powder-coated so it resists rust, fading and the wear of California weather — keeping its clean lines for decades. We fabricate matching pedestrian and vehicle gates, and we repair and extend existing iron fencing as well.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between wrought iron and ornamental steel?
True wrought iron is hand-forged and mostly used for custom restoration today. Most modern "iron" fencing is welded or extruded steel with a powder-coat finish — stronger, more consistent and far more rust-resistant — which is what we install for the vast majority of projects.
How secure can an iron fence be?
Very. Beyond standard ornamental grades we install ultra-high-security systems such as Ameristar Impass II, engineered with anti-climb geometry and concealed fasteners for government and critical-infrastructure perimeters.
Does ornamental iron rust?
Modern systems are hot-dip galvanized and powder-coated, which dramatically slows corrosion. With basic care a quality ornamental steel fence stays attractive and structurally sound for decades.
